Sailing Sessions 2024

Individual Explorers, Cubs or Scouts from Hemel Hempstead District can go dinghy sailing this summer! These sessions are run at the Bury Lake Young Mariners centre by qualified and experienced leaders from around the District (your own Group’s leaders will not be running this activity). Youngsters must be confident in water and able to swim 25m with a buoyancy aid.

Taster sessions Time 6-8pm                                                                                                   Dates -Thursdays 2 ^nd , 8^th, 15^th,22 ^nd May, June 6^th,13^th,20^nd,27^th June, and 4^th, 11^th July

Staged badge 1  Will run alongside the taster sessions over 4 weeks; 6^th June -27^th June. We strongly recommend a taster first. Very limited spaces.  Contact sailing@hemel-scouts.co.uk to express interest prior to booking. Recommended for older Cubs and Scouts.
