Does someone you know in Scouting deserve recognition?

Dear all,

Recognising and thanking our volunteers is so important – and the Scout Association has an awards system to help that.

Information on the various awards, qualifying criteria and process can be found on the national website. The information is quite extensive and can be confusing/daunting so we have a local awards committee who can help, as well as pro-actively considering adults to nominate for awards.

If you think someone in Scouting needs recognising, please put the details into the simple form on our website and the local awards committee will check eligibility and if appropriate, develop the details into a formal nomination to County/HQ.

The Scout Association have a deadline every 3 months for submissions – the local awards committee next meet on Wednesday 27^th November – so please submit any suggestions through the online form by Wednesday 20^th November.
