Join-in-Jamboree is intended to bring the essence and experience of the World Scout Jamboree to as many people as possible, so spread the word and Join in!
In Hemel Hempstead, the District Executive are encouraging every section to take part in a “Join in Jamboree” programme by running one evening with a Jamboree or Swedish theme. If you do so and submit a short write-up and photograph before 31st July, everybody (young people and adults) will receive a souvenir Hertfordshire Jamboree Unit Badge – which can be worn on your uniform until the end of 2011.
To support leaders with this challenge, the Scout Association have produced a suite of programme resources focusing on the Global Programme Zone and the International Self-Development Area:
